The open joint-stock company "Chemical Plant", the former chemical plant of the city of Isfara, is considered the only enterprise producing industrial explosives in Central Asia and Kazakhstan of the former Soviet Union, therefore, a large number of projects in the years of the existence of the former Soviet Union of the enterprise with industrial explosives meet the requirements of all consumers. It fully supplied the Central Asian republics (Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan), Kazakhstan, the Eastern part of the Russian Federation from the Urals to the Far East, the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan and Mongolia.
The main products of the enterprise are industrial explosives, and its products are used in mining enterprises of the republic, including JSPKM "Zarafshan", LLC "Aprelevka", KF Shakhtai "Fon-Yaghnob" and NPO "Rogun". The enterprise has 5 production workshops (workshops) and is located on an area of 15 ha.
Also, apart from explosives, it produces products of people's needs, such as polyethylene film, sewing products, aluminum and plastic doors and windows.
